Yes, it's is that time of the year when caps and gowns come out and all high school seniors panic about what they are suppose to do for the rest of their lives. Well, maybe not all will panic but it will definitely be a reality check for most 18 year olds. We homeschool are kids so when our daughter graduated this year, we had a reception at the house with some close friends and family. Not to say she is not wondering what the future holds but hopefully she'll realize like other class of 09 seniors that the sky is the limit.
Well the check engine light is off the truck and we're acouple hundred poorer but again and it always will be...Praise the Lord for He is good!
The 22nd is my last day at work. I work as a Para at the elementary school. Yea! Looking forward to doing all that hasn't gotten done in the last 9 months. ( Ask me in a couple of weeks if I slew the gigantic dust bunnies in their lair. I must reach them before they mate and multiply beyond belief. Maybe I should call the CDC...Center for Dust Control. Or maybe just wrap my cats in sticky paper and they'll do the work for me.)
One thought on being a full time mom/homemaker. You should never be ashamed. Being a stay at home mom/homemaker is a difficult job that all women are not cut out for, let alone most men. Yes, being a taxi service/maid service/secretary/chef/principal or teacher(for those that homeschool)/referee/accountant/grocery shopping/band-aid placer/remember where all was left finder/bank atm/biggest fan of your husband and children/sunday school teacher/the go to person for hugs and a word of encouragement are some of the most physically, emotionally, and spiritually demanding position that you'll ever love.
In Christ
