Okay, I just spent the last 20 minutes typing a post all, to lose it when I pushed the wrong button. Technology isn't necessarily my thing. One more time...
The trip to Bogota, Colombia was in a word...incredible. The team was great and all seemed to get along. Everyone seemed to fit into a nitch of what they did best and everyone was okay with that. The missionaries were super to us. They were fun to be around and have a heart for God's work and the people of South America. The Colombians were generous and caring. They always wanted to make us feel comfortable and cared for. It still amazes me that through such a short time you can become so deeply attached to a place and a people group that you are sadden and tears come to your eyes when you leave. Through jump roping, arm wrestling, UNO playing, singing praises to God, visiting about everyday things, skits, human videos, testimonies and dishing out liberal doses of hugs and kisses, God can move beyond language barriers and cultural differences.
I am thankful to have been a part of this trip and hope to do so again. I was blessed to see first hand the movement of the Holy Spirit on my son and the youth in our church that also went.
Be bold in all you do for Christ. Mice are seldom heard and even less seen.
